1. Cyclone Anaya’s
Cyclone Anaya’s is an awesome ‘Mexican Kitchen’ style restaurant known for its eccentric decor and delicious food. What to get? I personally LOVE their ceviche. It’s listed as an appetizer, but it’ll most definitely fill you up in place of a meal. With four Houston locations, there should be no excuse for you not to try it out.
2. Cafe Brasil
Cafe Brasil is a unique restaurant in Houston that has more than pleased their customers. What to get? The Triple Apple Bacon pizza is an all-time favorite of many.
Alladin’s is a delectable restaurant with all sorts of Mediterranean food. What to get? Either the Gyro or the Steak Kabobs; both will rock your world.
Escalante’s is labeled as ‘Fine Tex-Mex,’ and it most certainly is. What to get? Their Camarones Rellenos (bacon wrapped jumbo shrimp) are my favorite thing on the menu aside from their awesome drinks. Escalante’s has five Houston locations including one in Sugar Land.
5. Rainbow Lodge
Rainbow Lodge, with only one location in Houston, is a high-end game restaurant. What to get? The North American Elk Chop because of it’s savory roasted garlic flavoring. Rainbow Lodge is well known for it’s cabin-feel atmosphere.
6. Del Frisco’s
Looking to eat some melt-in-your-mouth steak (USDA Prime Beef to be exact)? Del Frisco’s is one of the number one fine-dine spots to satisfy your carnivorous needs. What to get? Either their Bone-In Prime Ribeye or the Filet Mignon. You won’t be disappointed.
Straits is very popular for its delicious Singaporean food. What to get? A martini… seriously. Food wise? They have heavenly coconut rice.
