Fans that attended the T.I. concert last May at New York’s Irving Plaza, which erupted in gunfire, killing one and injuring three have filed a lawsuit against the venue and promoter Live Nation.
However, none of the plaintiffs in the suit were shot in the incident, which led to the arrest of Troy Ave, who was charged with attempted murder.
The lawsuit states that the venue didn’t adequately screen people before allowing them to enter the concert, enabling the shooting to occur. The plaintiffs insist they suffered serious physical injuries and mental anguish after they were trampled while rushing for the exits, their attorney Vincent Provenzano tells TMZ.
