Taiwan is upping the quality of living for their feline friends. Because of the growing popularity of cats, several architects have started to dabbled in constructing flats for cats.
KPRC cited CNN’s source who said, “The cat business is booming. I don’t remember it being like this three years ago.” Those are the words of founder of Taipei-based ST Studio Design and the interior designer behind one of the cat flats in Taiwan.
CNN says that cat popularity in Taiwan has increased by 91% and owners spend an average of $598.4 million on pet-related products and services a year, according to the Council of Agriculture.
