Two of the biggest names in rock music will be co-headlining festivals “Classic East” and “Classic West” Billboard.com announced on Thursday. Fleetwood Mac and The Eagles will get top billing for two shows which will take place in July at the New York Mets Citi Field and Dodgers Stadium in Los Angeles.
The two-day festivals will be adding acts in the next few months but a number of big-time music companies are involved in the blockbuster concert concept including Azoff MSG Entertainment, Live Nation, the Oak View Group and CAA.
The festival will be the first concert for the Eagles since the death of Glenn Frey in Jan. 2016. These would also be the only dates for Fleetwood Mac in 2017, according to Billboard.
